RTE Pumpkin Book Character Contest

Deadline: October 30, 2016
- Work on your own or with 1 partner
- Use an artificial (fake) pumpkin the size of a pie pumpkin. (think small, but not miniature) (Michaels, Hobby Lobby)
- Decorate the pumpkin to look like a favorite character(s) from a children’s book.
- Use your imagination! You may want to paint your pumpkin or use other materials to decorate the pumpkin.
- Write your name (and your partner’s name), title, author, illustrator, and a few sentences telling about your book on a notecard to display by your pumpkin.
- Bring it to the school library media center for judging!
