Early Dismissal Procedures
Every school day is integral to the successful learning of all students and we encourage you not to schedule appointments during school hours. However, we do understand that sometimes this is unavoidable. In these instances, please be mindful of the Richland 2 procedures regarding
early dismissals.
- It is the procedure of all Richland 2 schools not to permit early dismissals AFTER 2:15
- Students will not be released from class until they have been signed out by a authorized adult
- Notes, emails and phone calls regarding early dismissals will be used for teacher reference only as office personnel cannot "have student's ready" until they have been signed out in the office by an authorized adult
- Proper identification is REQUIRED by any adult signing a child out of school
- Students will not be released to anyone that is not on the authorized list submitted by parents or guardians and on file here at school.
