Richland Two now offers outdoor WiFi zones for our students to connect to the Internet using their district-issued Chromebook or a personal device.

Please visit www.richland2.org/wifi for a list of locations near you.


To connect WiFi:
Select the WiFi network icon in the notification area (bottom right corner). In the list of networks, choose network and then select 'Connect.' Type the security key or password if necessary and then connect.

Round Top Elementary Chromebook Pick-Up Schedule


  • Wednesday, April 1:  12pm – 3pm
  • Thursday, April 2:  8am – 12pm
  • Friday, April 3:  9am – 11am

Be prepared to identify your student by name, homeroom and birthdate and have your ID available. Many people will help with distribution who may not know faces.

Families with students in multiple grades at RTE, please come to the back of the school, utilizing our bus loop. Chromebooks and learning packets have already been bundled for distribution.

If your student is in PreK, Kindergarten or 1st grade, with no other siblings at RTE, you will be sent an email with your distance learning packet.  Should you need to pick up a packet, please follow the schedule above.

Free Meals for Children in Richland 2 March 23-27

Free meals (breakfast and lunch) for children up to age 18 will be
distributed from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the following locations:


  • Bethel-Hanberry Elementary (new location starting March 23)
  • Bridge Creek Elementary
  • Dent Middle
  • Joseph Keels Elementary (We announced at the end of last week
      that this site would not be a meal site this week. However, it HAS been added back to the list.)

  • Killian Elementary
  • Longleaf Middle
  • LW Conder Elementary (new location starting March 23)
  • North Springs Elementary
  • Polo Road Elementary
  • Pontiac Elementary (new location starting March 23)
  • Rice Creek Elementary

Children do not have to attend one of these schools to receive
free meals. Pick-up at these sites is open to all children ages 2-18
living in Richland Two attendance zones regardless of the families' free/reduced-price meal status.

11 a.m.: Inn Town Suites -Two Notch, Parklane Apartment Homes,
Spring Garden Apartments, Hunters Way Apartments - Columbia,
Polo Estates Manufactured Home Community LLC, Spears Creek Mobile Home Park

11:45 a.m.: Regency Mobile Home Park, The Chimneys At Brookfield, Charleswood at the Katie & Irwin Kahn Jewish Community Center JCC, Freeway Trailer Park

12:00 p.m.: Greenbrier Apartment Homes, Springtree Apartments, Brookside Crossing


Pick-up at these sites is open to all children ages 2-18 regardless of the families' free/reduced-price meal status.

COVID-19 School Feeding Update



While school is closed March 16-31, 2020, we will be implementing our COVID-19 Food Service Plan.

All Richland School District Two students, regardless of their free and reduced lunch status, will be eligible to receive up to two meals a day, Monday through Friday, at the following sites: 

  • Bridge Creek Elementary School
  • Dent Middle School
  • Keels Elementary School,
  • Killian Elementary School
  • Longleaf Middle School
  • North Springs Elementary School
  • Polo Road Elementary School
  • Rice Creek Elementary School


Meals are open to all students and they do not have to go to the site of their home school. Breakfast will be served from 7 to 9 a.m. and will consist of items such as cereal, yogurt, granola bars, milk, fresh fruit and juices. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will include items such as cold sandwiches, fruits, vegetables and milk. Menus are subject to change based on product availability.

Meals will be distributed as designated at each location per the counsel of district security, such as bus loops or car lines. Personnel will be on site at each location to direct traffic. No food will be served inside of the buildings and everything will be dispersed drive-thru/grab-and-go style. Students must be present in the car to receive a meal.
