Passports to New Worlds (PNW)-Australia

G'Day, Mates! Students in grades K-5 have had a busy few days at RTE.  May 1-2 were PNW days and we toured Australia this year.  Students experienced the Great Barrier Reef, the Outback, Sydney, Tasmania, and Holidays & Traditions.  Passports to New Worlds (PNW) is a student designed and led cultural festival with a different destination each year.  Our student leaders come from our PNW Club and Student Council.  In addition, we are an Arts in the Basic Curriculum (ABC) which provided a Didgeridoo artist to spend 2 days with our students in grades 3-5.  Both K-2 and 3-5 students enjoyed a concert from the Land Down Under courtesy of the Didgeridoo artist and some talented RTE students.
