RTE Donated to Schools Affected by SC Flood

Thanks to the RTE staff, Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), students, and all of the parents and donors, this year’s RTE Boosterthon fundraiser was a huge success! The PTO collected 95% of what was pledged and profited over $20,000. Students also received pledges from 45 countries, which is a Boosterthon national record.

The funds are used for classroom and school needs. This year, due to the intense and historic SC Flood disaster, the PTO designated 50% of the profit to assist 2 local schools that suffered. Hundreds of homes close to these schools were destroyed and billions of dollars in damage accumulated. Yesterday, on February 1st, the Round Top administration, PTO and top student fundraisers presented donations to South Kilbourne Elementary and Bradley Elementary each totaling $5,167.10. Enjoy the pics below from RTE's visit to the schools.
