Dear 5th Grade Parents,
Yes, it is that time of year....time to begin thinking about Middle School and Middle School Magnet Programs!!! We are proud of each of our 5th graders and are excited to watch them head to middle school!
Richland School District Two offers 11 magnet programs. Click HERE for more information about each program. The application process for magnet programs begins on January 6, 2015 and ends on January 30, 2015 at 5:00 P.M. A link for the application process will become available during the application window at www.richland2.com. Acceptance notification will be online during the week of March 18, 2015-March 24, 2015. Parents will also accept or deny choice online. Some magnet programs require that students meet certain criteria as well as participate in an interview. To find out more about this information contact Miss Freeman.
Information meetings are also scheduled for students and parents to find out more about every school and magnet program available to RTE students. Refer to the chart below to determine the location, date, and type of meeting. Attending is highly recommended to find out more about each program and school!
