February Box Tops Contest & Publix Key Tags

Fridays in February

PTO is sponsoring a Box Tops contest every Friday in February! Each week's winning class will receive a prize as well as ownership of the Box Tops trophy for the week! 

Use the special contest collection sheet that was sent home earlier, any Box Tops collection sheet or a zip top baggie. Just make sure to include your child's name and teacher name.

Please make sure to neatly clip your Box Tops along the dotted line and that they are within their expiration date.

Publix Key Tags

Thanks for using your RTE PTO key tag when checking out at Publix! Last quarter we earned $620.60! If you do not have a key tag, and would like one, please send an email to RTEPTO@gmail.com and indicate your child's name and their teacher and we can send one home with them. Every time you help the PTO, you are making a difference! Thanks to you we can provide grants, teacher support monies, fund our Awesome Aviator program, ... the list goes on and on!

Jump Rope for the Heart

Dear Parents,

This is Mike Lally with a Jump Rope for Heart updated.  Donations can be turned in until next Friday Feb. 3^rd.  After that Ms. Rickman will generate a Purchase order to send to the American Heart Association who will then put together the package of thank you prizes and mail them to RTE.  This process will take a minimum of a month to process.  Thank you for your patience and thank you for donating to such a great cause.  This only applies to students in grades 2-5.

Parent Writing Display & PTO Minutes

What makes RTE special?

Parents, grandparents, volunteers...By now I'm sure you've heard the awesome news that RTE is a finalist for the Palmetto's Finest award and we will be having a second site visit sometime in February!

We need YOUR HELP to showcase what makes RTE such a special place! One of our hallway displays will feature parent reflections on "What sets RTE apart from other schools?"

The PTO has a table set up in the Media Center with all you will need to tell everyone what makes RTE special for you and your child! Next time you are in the building, please take a moment to pop in the Media Center and put your thoughts on paper.

Glow Golf at RTE

RTE PTO is proud to present a Family Fun Night like no other RTE has ever hosted: Glow Golf!

Here's the 411: 

Session 1: 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM 

Session 2: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM 

Session 3: 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM 

--Each session will last approximately 45 minutes--

Teams are limited to 8 individuals.

Large groups may be split/small groups combined.

Each team must be accompanied by at least one adult.

Maximum of 6 tickets can be purchased per transaction.

Anyone golfing has to have a ticket.

Tickets are $15 each and must be purchased in advance. Tickets will not be sold at the door!
