Flowers & Gift Policy

Flowers & Gift Policy
We need your assistance.  Flowers, balloons, and other such special event gifts will not be accepted by our school office for delivery to any student.  Please arrange to have these gifts sent to the student’s home.  We want to remind you of this as Valentine’s Day approaches.  Our office staff is limited and we do not want to interrupt instruction.
Thank you so much for your help with this!

Toy Drive Success

Ms. Lindsey's 5th grade class had a toy drive led by Blythewood High School student intern and RTE alum, Day'Seanna Able prior to the winter break.  100 toys were donated for God's Storehouse, Inc.!  Your contributions surely brought a smile to many children in need of Christmas joy!  Thank you!

Happy New Year!

Welcome back to a fabulous 2015!

We hope you all had a terrific winter break and are
looking forward to the remainder of the school
year as much as we all are!

NAEP Testing

Round Top Elementary has been selected to represent schools across the nation by participating in the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP). First administered in 1969, NAEP is the largest nationally representative and continuing assessment of what students know and can do in various subject areas. It is administered by the National Center for Education Statistics, within the U.S. Department of Education. NAEP is different from state assessments because it provides a common measure of student achievement across the country.

In our school, the NAEP assessment will be given in February to a randomly selected group of 4th grade students.   If your child does not receive a letter by January 6th, they will not participate in NAEP testing.  Students who have been selected to participate will receive a "letter of parent notification," which will include more detailed information.

We are excited that our school will be participating in NAEP. We know that Round Top Elementary's students will help us show what our nation’s students know and can do!
